Slovenia trip

Hello my friends!

It’s been a long time since my old post, but here I am with the updates and experience from trip to Slovenia, organized by Company where I am working since Company is originally from Slovenia. 🙂

We spent three days exploring the company’s HQ (visited full production)  then we had some leasure time in Portoroz, Piran and Ljubljana.

We have explored Istrian wine yards and tasted the best from Slovenian wine with the live cooking show and homemade pasta with truffles.  That was so yummy!

We were lucky with the weather in Portoroz and Piran and tempreature was about 27C which made it perfect for morning swimming with the colleagues and late night walks by the beach followed with party time of course!

Ljubljana is a capital town of Slovenia and here we explored all the area, walked trough cobblestone streets, visited Ljubljana castle from where we had a beautiful view over the whole town. The way to get up there is so cool! There s a funicular which is all in glass and can take you up in few seconds, of course you can also take small paths from the town to the castle. 🙂 We did that on the way back to the city.

Before the departure we had lunch in beautiful and delicious restaurant AS in the city center. Definitely check it out if you are visiting Ljubljana.

Things to try:

  • Slovenian Ice coffee
  • Potica
  • Bundevino ulje
  • Struklji
  • Wine & much more…
